What is the duration of traninng at SMP?<\/div><\/span>

What are the programs avavilable at SMP?<\/div><\/span>
[vc_column_text]The specializations available at the institute are: Surface Mining, Underground Mining, Electrical Maintenance, Mechanical Maintenance, Plant Opration, Exploration, Drilling and Blasting, Mining Chemical Lab, Industrial Securty Gaurd Opration and Cement Manufacturing Technology[\/vc_column_text]<\/div><\/div>
Is SMP a govermental orgnaization and is the degree accredited?<\/div><\/span>
[vc_column_text]SMP is semi-governmental and the degree is accredited by the Ministry of Education and the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC)[\/vc_column_text]<\/div><\/div>
When is the admission portal opened?<\/div><\/span>

Training opportunities are announced at SMP based on companies\u2019 needs. The admission portal is likely to open three times a year.<\/p>\n

Are there branches for SMP in the Kingdom?<\/div><\/span>

The only branch in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is currently in Arar. Other branches may be established as the need increases in the future.<\/p>\n

What are the benfits of traninng at SMP?<\/div><\/span>

The trainee enjoys a stipend every month during training in addition to housing or a housing allowance, and is registered with the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) and medical insurance by the sponsoring company.<\/p>\n

Is employment guaranteed after graduation?<\/div><\/span>

Employment is guaranteed if you successfully pass the program.<\/p>\n

Yes, traniees are registered with the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI).<\/p>\n

What are the traninng times at SMP?<\/div><\/span>

Training times are from 8:00 AM in until 3:30 PM.<\/p>\n

Is traininng theoritcal or practical? <\/div><\/span>

Training in the first year includes studying courses on English, computer, safety and life skills, and in the second year it is practical on advanced simulators and in labs and workshops.<\/p>\n

What is the degree i receive after graduation?<\/div><\/span>

For one year programs, the degree is Advanced Diploma. For two-year programs, the degree is Intermediate Diploma.<\/p>\n

Can i postpone traninng after i have been accepted at SMP?<\/div><\/span>

Training cannot be postponed because SMP has a contract with the sponsoring company and is commited to a specific training period.<\/p>\n

If i'm supported by HRDF, can i be accepted at SMP?<\/div><\/span>

You will not be accepted into the institute until it is confirmed that your name is not included in the HRDF.<\/p>\n
