This course covers knowledge and maintenance operations for different types of single- and three-phase alternating current and direct current motors, in addition to the applications of the motors, as well as the advantages, disadvantages and limitations of their use. This includes the parts of each type and its functions.

Learning Outcomes

• The participant will be able to state the safe use of test equipment
• The participants will understand the procedures for testing, commissioning, maintaining, and troubleshooting
• The participant will be able to state the different types of electrical test equipment used in the industry.
• The participant will identify the safe use and test of different devices such as relays, timing relays, magnetic contractors, latching DEVICES, push button switches, connectors, indicator lamps, selector switches, manual STARTERS, motor starters, and others.
