Overview

This course aims to Providing employees with certain safety responsibilities with greater depth and diversity of training on the many topics associated with workplace hazards in general industry. The course also provides training for workers and employers to recognize, avoid, mitigate and prevent safety and health risks in their workplaces.

Course Description

This course is intended to provide workers with some safety responsibility AND a greater depth and variety of training on an expanded list of topics associated with workplace hazards in general industry.

Target Audience

Workers with some safety responsibility who have a greater depth and variety of training on an expanded list of topics associated with workplace hazards in general industry.

Learning Outcomes

• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills for the identification, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in their workplaces.
• Interpret and identify workers’ rights, employer’s responsibilities, and how to report and file complaints.
