Overview
This course offers Basic knowledge of underground mining, including underground mining methods – natural support stops (room and column stops, sublevel stops), Artificial support stops (deflation, cutting and packing, square mining), and cavitation methods (mass cavitation sub-level).
Course Description
In this course, the trainees will have essential knowledge of underground mining. This includes underground mining methods – Naturally Support Stopes (room and pillar, sub-level stopping), Artificially Support Stopes (Shrinkage, Cut-and-fill, Square-set mining, Longwall Mining), and Caving Methods (Sub-level caving and block saving).
Target Audience
Engineers, Technicians, Blasters, and all Field Blasting team.
