Mining economics and management

Overview

This course provides a basic introduction to the importance of mining to the Saudi economy and the concepts of economic value and social and economic importance of mineral resources. It also provides management functions for planning, organizing, organizational structure, decision-making, strategic management, motivation and control, in addition to the basics of project management and implementation stages.

Course Description

Basic introduction of the importance of mining to the Saudi economy, economic value concepts and the social and economic significance of mineral resources. It also introduces management functions of planning, organizing, organization structure, DECISION-MAKING, strategic management, motivation, and controlling. Basics of project management and execution phases.
